My Memorable Picnic: Bhutan

All I have now is memories back always those days we as a group of 20 Students accompanied by our Teacher and Vice Principal. It happened 3 years back before Covid 19 started, so it gives us all a good memories to cherish on and for me especially the nature Lover.

Bhutan is one if the smallest countries in the World and it's famous for peace and happiness and if you don't believe better visit yourself

"The country of Happiness, Bhutan"

We entered Bhutan via Jaigaon which is the border town on the Indian Site and a small colourful decorated arch separates the two countries. The side of Bhutan is termed as PHUNST Shillong. Here lies the first check post where we had to show valid papers fir the entrance to Bhutan. I was mesmerised by the scenic view of the country as soon as I stepped into the land of Bhutan. We were welcomed with a welcome drink "Suja Chai", it was a light pink colour juice made from tea leaves and it tasted salty owing to butter.

Early next morning we were off to explore Paro, starting from the frame " Tiger's Nest" followed by the National Museum and the Rinpung Dzong, the Monastery with perhaps the most stunning architecture in Bhutan. The local food named "Datshis" was yummy and delicious.

The next morning we headed for "Thimphu", Bhutan's Capital. Here, we strolled around the Norzin Lam, Thimohu' Commercial District and visited Memorial Chorten. Thereafter I remembered we visited to see the Golden Bhuddha Fordenma statue, and many places like Lunakha and so on.

Our Two days or picnic was such an amazing, incredible, stunning, Awe-Inspiring. Every word is too small and too scant for this landscape. The beauty of Bhutan, its cuisine and its culture had completely thrilled me and I wish to visit that heavenly place again. You will find peace and tranquillity at these places and such a place must Visit and enjoy the beauty of nature with beautiful landscape and mountains and Himalayas.
